Organic cotton is grown using methods and materials that have a positive impact on the environment. Its production sustains the health of soils, ecosystems, and people by using natural processes rather than artificial inputs. Importantly organic cotton farming does not allow the use of toxic chemicals or GMOs (genetically modified organisms).
Tencel™ Modal
This product contains tencel™ modal fibers manufactured from the renewable raw material beech wood, sourced from sustainable forests. All tencel™ standard modalfibers are biodegradable and compostable under industrial, home, soil and marine conditions, thus they can fully revert back to nature. Exhibiting high flexibility, tencel™ modalwood-basedfibers offer textiles a long-lasting quality of exquisite softness and naturally manage the transportation of moisture, enhancing fabrics by keeping your skin feeling pleasantly comfortable. Owing to the fiber’s sleek cross-section, tencel™ modal fibers enhance the soft touch of fabrics even after repeated washing.
Recycled Polyester
Production of polyester fabric involves significant quantities of chemicals, raw materials, and by-products that are toxic and can pollute water and air and cause health. Unlike polyester, recycled polyester uses PET as the raw material. This is the same material that is used in clear plastic water bottles and recycling it to create the fabric prevents it from going to landfill.
